Skilled Nominated Visa (Subclass 190)

The Skilled Nominated Subclass 190 Visa is a permanent visa that means you can stay in Australia indefinitely.

For this visa, you must submit a completed EOI – Expression of Interest – in SkillSelect. The relevant state and territory government agencies can then see the completed EOI, and based on that they might nominate you for the 190 visa. An Australian state or territory government agency must have nominated you for this visa.

IMPORTANT NOTE: There are different criterias put forth by all state and territory government agencies to decide which candidates they will nominate. To be eligible, your occupation or job role can be either on the MLTSSL (Medium and Long-Term Strategic Skill List) or the STSOL (Short-term Skilled Occupation List).

Following are the Basic Eligibility Requirements

It is mandatory for an applicant to be under the age of 45 years at the time of receiving an invitation for the submission of their application
To be eligible, your occupation must be included in either the latest MLTSSL or STSOL
You must receive a positive skills assessment for your qualifications and skills from the relevant Australian authority, which is certified to test those qualifications or skills.
You must have at least competent English language skills in the recommended English Language Proficiency Tests like PTE, IELTS to name a few
You must meet the basic health and character requirements
You must be nominated by a State or Territory and invited through an Expression of Interest (EOI) from Immigration.
